This soap hopes to take you on a journey to Spain, France, and Germany.

Traditionally, Castile Soap was 100% Olive Oil soap made in the Castile region of Spain(which was said to be originally inspired by Aleppo Soap). Today's definition of "Castile" soap is much looser and is generally defined as a plant-based bar of soap, and thus all of my soaps can be considered "Castile". Not to us though, we at 'PoCo Soap Co' are purists, and only 100% Olive Oil soap can be called Castile!

Taking inspiration from Germany, this can also be classified as a "Soleseife" soap. Which is a traditional soap made from Sea Water, from the coastal regions of Germany.

With aromas of Sage, Rosemary, and Eucalyptus, which were inspired by the Bendictine Monks of the Ganagobie Abbey in South-East France, who -according to Terry O'Reilly- grow these herbs on their grounds and incorporate them into their soaps, which they have been making for many, many years.
